Do you use backlinks for your site?  Do you pay for them?  How much do you think is a reasonable price to pay for backlinks? 

 

I'm using backlinks for my forum but I've never had to pay for them.  I would know what a good price would be to pay for a backlink since I've gotten them for free so far.  I was always told backlinks are one of the best ways to promote your site.

I think the best backlinks are naturally acquired. When someone links to your site they're basically sourcing you as an authority, and their link will signal search engines, as well as send some valuable visitors to your site.

 

I don't see a reason for spending money on backlinks. If you have good content then people will link to it naturally, and if you don't have good content then even if you did get good links there still wouldn't be anyone wanting to read your content (plus most paid backlink services will only get you links on incredibly spammy sites which are low-quality themselves.
