What was the first coding language you learned? and was it easy?

HTML was the first I learned, however, I'm still learning.  I only know basic HTML.  Some of it is easy, but the more advanced HTML is a bit difficult for me.

The closest I've ever learned to coding was html and that was back in the days I was first designing websites (personal ones at that nothing commercial).  Do any of you remember expages.com?  I remember how excited I was when I first learned you can open multiple pages and link them to each other.  Just like Drago I only know basic HTML like, font faces, url link backs, image placements, etc.  Most of the time if I had to work with html I would have to copy and paste. I remember I used to use a site called funkychickens.com for that. =)
