I learned CSS over a very long time period but I never took courses, and I never sat down to learn it. I used to inspect the source code of hundreds of pages to learn what made them tick and that's how I picked up the basics of CSS.
At this point I still feel like a CSS amateur but I feel confident in learning anything that I need to on the spot. I know the general structure of CSS and how elements interact with one another.
