I took this photo in Colorado a few weeks ago. This was taken with my Canon Rebel T3i at 1/3 shutter speed and f/22, ISO 100. I just balanced set the camera on a bridge and did the long-exposure shot with a 2-second self time.

I love the view of that waterfall simply amazing. The view is sweet and the quality on the picture is great. Nice shot.

I like the shot, but I think it would be even better if the sun was up and glistening across that water!

That is an amazing picture and just the pictures I like to take myself amongst other kinds of pictures of nature. I love the colours and the effects you get from the photo's. Gives you a lovely picture and one of those photo's you can take yourself and have printed and frame. It has a relaxing feel to it :)

This is a great photo :)

I love walking into photographer's galleries where they've framed photos that look fabulous under that studio light. I'd love to be able to light up a photo like that so it pops in my home.

It is awesome, I don't even believe that there is a place like this. It looks like the heaven, doesn't it? I am very impressed with your talent and with your professional tools.

I took this with the stock lens kit and I think it turned out very well. There was a snowy bridge that I shot from, it was a perfect place for portraits.

If I could go back I'd bring my tripod so I could do this with part of the bridge showing.

Looking back, I should have shot this in RAW and adjusted the highlights to have more detail show in that snow and the overexposed part on the left.

Were you able to capture the water just like this with the equipment and settings you mentioned above? ...or did you have to go back to your editing software to smooth out the water?  I see these type of photos everywhere and I am amazed every time and would love to take a photo like this in the future.  I have never been to visit Colorado (I've only ever driven through) but it seems to be a beautiful state.
